We are seeking a highly driven, commercially focused Dealer – Local & Foreign Sales to join our growing team. This role is suited to a results-oriented market professional with a strong sales mindset, deep understanding of capital markets, and the ability to originate and execute transactions across both Equities and Fixed Income.

This role carries direct revenue accountability, with clear origination, pipeline, and income targets across equity and bond markets.

 

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Driving revenue growth through active origination and execution of equity and bond trades, maintaining a visible and measurable sales pipeline, and converting client relationships into recurring transaction flows.
  • Sourcing new investment funds and originating secondary and primary market transactions, including bond trades, equity trades, IPOs, and private placements.
  • Building, managing, and expanding strong relationships with institutional clients, fund managers, banks, insurance companies, corporates, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Delivering high-quality client coverage by providing timely market intelligence, trade ideas, and investment insights in collaboration with the research team.
  • Retaining and growing client portfolios, managing escalations, and representing KSL in key market forums and industry engagements.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely trade execution, contract note issuance, and prompt resolution of post-trade and settlement issues.
  • Upholding full compliance with KSL, Group, and regulatory requirements, supporting audit readiness, and contributing to ongoing business initiatives and projects.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a quantitative discipline.
  • Proven capital markets experience, with exposure to both Equity and Fixed Income trading.
  • Valid ATS certification (mandatory).
  • CISI Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
  • CFA qualification or progress toward CFA will be an added advantage, particularly for Fixed Income and portfolio advisory capability.
  • Strong sales, origination, and relationship management skills, with the ability to build and convert a credible pipeline.
  • Solid understanding of fixed income instruments, bond pricing, yield curves, and market dynamics.
  • Knowledge of equity valuation methodologies, technical and fundamental analysis.
  • Ability to interpret financial statements, ratios, and basic financial models.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • A commercially driven, resilient, and high-energy mindset, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, target-oriented trading environment.
  • Candidates with an existing client book or demonstrable pipeline will have a distinct advantage.
